What is essential is invisible to the eyes

2006

interactive sculpture

This piece also is an interactive space of an organic heart shape. Two aortas serve as the entrance and exit through which viewers discover the piece’s interior; a translucent red space with different divisions. Upon the participants interacting within the work through bouncing, somersaulting and walking, the heart appears as a living organism when viewed from the exterior. The project also includes video documentation of the fabrication process at a factory in Tijuana specializing in constructing bouncing castles.
